GNUnify 06

Last weekend I went to Gnunify. I gave a tech talk on Nagios. More importantly, I liked talking about "Why you should hire a FOSS programmer" in a BOF at the end of the first day. It sort of became a tale of my life story and how I got started in FOSS.

Whenever I go to any student conference, My only aim is to look and find that 2% people who I could impress and incite into writing free software. We had quite a crowd at that BOF and yesterday I saw one student from that crown in our local IRC channel. So It was not a failure at least.

I had a lot of fun at Gnunify and I hope I can do it again next year. The students were a lot of fun and very interested in us Yahoos!
